Refurbishment & Fit-Out
Kilmal was appointed to transform The Mill House, a substantial office property, into a modern, multi-functional environment that balances workspace efficiency with contemporary living. With a total area of 771.6 sq. m, the project scope included the refurbishment of the office floors, conversion of the basement into a practical storage facility and ongoing works to create two apartments within the attic space.
One of the property’s defining features is its striking architectural entrance: double timber doors framed by a marble surround, leading into a light-filled foyer with marble finishes and bespoke feature lighting suspended over a broad open-tread staircase.

Services Rendered
The first floor was designed as a collaborative workspace, incorporating:
An open-plan office with two enclosed meeting rooms (including one with a glass partition).
A newly fitted modern kitchen to support staff facilities.
A storage room for operational efficiency.
Ladies’ and gents’ toilets plus a shower room for staff wellbeing.
Two private meeting booths designed for focused discussions and meetings.
The interior design draws on mid-century style with Scandinavian influences, combining warm natural tones with green and orange accents, extensive walnut wood details and premium leather seating. The result is a sophisticated, timeless office aesthetic that enhances productivity and creativity.
Delivered to an exceptional standard, The Mill House exemplifies Kilmal’s expertise in blending architectural heritage with contemporary design. By integrating modern office amenities, residential potential and refined detailing, the building has been reimagined as a versatile, high-value asset.
